I took him off since Simon said it might be better to, so he's deactivated right now.

[ Should she put him back on??? She'll just wait for Aura to actually say so, if it's even needed. ]

But he called people names and insulted them, and I wasn't even angry at those people. [ (Kind of like Clonco, when you zap him.) ]

[ Aura chuckles. Widget was one of Metis' master works. ]

I'm going to try and trace Widget, so if you can put him on for me - I'll turn his speech functions down to a minimum. It won't shut him up completely but he'll be quieter. I can restore normal function once everything stops being... mad.

voice;

[psycholawgy]

Right!

[ As if on command, she puts Widget back around her neck. A few seconds after that, Widget should be back online... and more feisty than ever. ]

Took you look enough, you little harpy!

[ . . . At least she was expecting Widget to start talking on his own again. ] See what I mean?

Shut up, nobody insults her like that but me.

[ There's furious typing in the background as it's very apparent that Aura's doing what she said - making Widget shut up. ]

voice;

[psycholawgy]

[ ... Was that supposed to be an insult or a compliment?!

Either way, Athena's quiet on her side of the line and waits for Aura to address her. ]

[ There's more rapid typing, like Aura is actually fighting through something terribly difficult to get to Widget. ]

I've shut him up. You'll have to contact me again once everything stops being uncooperative to get it back to full speed. That isn't going to be a problem, is it?

[ That's definitely better. At least she can have Widget with her again without feeling uncomfortable about it. ]

It's— It's fine! [ She may have shouted that over the CereVice, oops... but she continues, her tone softer this time. ] Thank you so much.

You're welcome. Now go away, I have to power everything down again.

[ it's said with a lot less venom than Aura normally has reserved for Athena, just a tiny bit less. ]
